Akon arrives in Maldives

Famous R&B superstar Akon has arrived Maldives.

Maldives tourism website maldives.net.mv stated that Akon will spend a 5-day holiday in a luxury resort in North Malé Atoll, starting from today.

He arrived from Qatar after entertaining fans with concerts in the Gulf states.

Akon is a Senegalese-American R&B and hip hop recording artist, songwriter, record producer and businessman. He rose to prominence in 2004 following the release of the song “Locked Up”, the first single from his debut album Trouble.

With over 12 million albums sold worldwide and five Grammy Award nominations, Akon is one of the most acclaimed singers in the US today.
