Umar has not done anything worthy of an apology: Maaz Saleem

Council Member of Progressive Party of Maldives (PPM), Umar Naseer’s Campaign Manager Maaz Saleem has said that Umar has not done anything worthy of an apology.

Referring to the decision by PPM Council to ask Umar to make a public apology before 10.00 am on Sunday, Saleem said that the people who should apologise are those who ‘put fake votes in the ballot boxes’.

He said that the public is aware that Umar has not done anything worthy of an apology and that the people who should apologise are those who planned and put fake votes in the ballot boxes.

Saleem said that Umar always encourages doing things justly, and that the deceitful activities that took place during the Primary Election have been submitted to the relevant committee of the party.

Umar was notified to make a public apology regarding the alleged untrue remarks made by him against Abdullah Yameen.
