Israel has killed four Palestinians, including the son of Gaza Health Ministry Director-General Munir al-Bursh, in its attacks across the blockaded enclave, as Tel Aviv continues its violations of a truce in place since October 2025, medical sources confirmed.

Basir al-Bursh, 28, was killed in a strike targeting him in the al-Zahra neighbourhood west of the Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza, a medical source said.

In eastern Gaza City, another Palestinian was killed in an Israeli drone strike in the Shujaiya neighbourhood.

A Palestinian girl also succumbed to wounds sustained earlier from Israeli army fire north of the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza.

In northern Gaza City, another Palestinian was killed and seven others wounded after an Israeli drone struck a civilian vehicle in the Sheikh Radwan neighbourhood.

Medical sources confirmed two young girls were among the injured, one of them critically.

Ground shelling

Witnesses reported that Israeli military vehicles intermittently opened fire east of the Jabalia refugee camp, with no casualties reported.

In southern Gaza, Israeli forces opened fire in the al-Shakoush area southwest of Khan Younis, while drones dropped bombs across the vicinity.

Israeli attack helicopters also opened heavy fire south of the al-Mawasi area west of Khan Younis and in adjacent sectors of Rafah.

Israel has killed over 73,000 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and wounded more than 174,000 others in its genocide in Gaza since October 2023.

Experts contend that the actual death toll significantly exceeds what the Gaza authorities have reported, estimating it could be around 200,000.

Israel has reduced most of the blockaded enclave to ruins and displaced the entire population. It continues to occupy 60 percent of Gaza.

A ceasefire took place in October of 2025. Still, Israel has continued to violate it daily, killing nearly 1,400 Palestinians and wounding 4,800 others, making it a one-sided truce.
