Vaadhoo accident victim sent to Sri Lanka for treatment

Mohamed Aswad, 29, who suffered serious injuries in an accident in Gaafu Dhaalu Vaadhoo on the night of 19 March, has been sent to Sri Lanka for medical treatment.

Aswad’s family said that he was taken to Sri Lanka last night. They said that he was still unconscious and that doctors had given up hope on him.

The police said that the accident took place when two motorbikes collided and lost control.
