Gaafu Dhaalu Atoll School Principal arrested on suspicion of theft

The principal of Gaafu Dhaalu Atoll School and another man have been arrested on suspicion of theft from VB Mart located on Majeedee Magu.

It has been confirmed to Sun Online that Gaafu Dhaalu Atoll School Principal, Ismail Ali of Mirusmaage, Raa Inguraidhoo, and another person were arrested at around 9:45 pm on Friday.

Sun Online understands that VB Mart has reported the incident to the police, indicating that the two people entered the shop, consumed and stole some products, and attempted to leave without paying.

The police said that the case is under investigation.
