Passport service launched in Dharavandhoo

Passport service was officially launched in B. Dharavandhoo on Sunday.

The ceremony marking the inauguration of the service was attended by the Acting Head of Maldives Immigration, Chief Principal Immigration Officer Ahmed Waheed.

The event was also attended by Dharavandhoo Council President Ali Sameeh, along with council members, senior Immigration officials, and residents of the island.

Maldives Immigration stated that with the introduction of passport services in Dharavandhoo, residents of Baa Atoll applying through Imuga portal can now choose to collect their passports from either Eydhafushi or Dharavandhoo.

Passport service in Eydhafushi on August 12 of last year in line with President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu’s pledge to expand passport services across the country.
