ID card issuance slated for four days in last 10 days of Ramadan

The Department of National Registration (DNR) announced on Tuesday its service schedule for the last ten days of Ramadan.

According to the announcement, Maldivian National Identity Card issuance will be available on March 11, 15, 17, and 19, from 9:30 am to 13:00pm at the following locations:

• DNR Head Office, Malé
• Umar Zahir Building, Hulhumalé Phase 1
• Vinares Tower 2, Hulhumalé Phase 2
• DNR Villimalé Office

DNR has instructed to contact the department’s hotline at 7280368 in case of emergencies. 

Although official working hours for government offices during Ramadan are from 9:00am to 13:00pm, all government offices will be closed during the last ten days of the month, which are scheduled to begin next Monday.
