Siyam World makes mark in history with Guinness World Record

Siyam World, a luxury five-star Maldivian resort, has made its mark in the Guinness World Records for the most people snorkeling simultaneously at a single venue.

The resort secured its spot in Guinness World Records with the ‘Snorkel World 300’ event held on Friday morning.

The event, held in collaboration with Free Dive Maldives, saw participants from 13 islands, including from Noonu Atoll, Baa Atoll, Haa Alifu Atoll and Haa Dhaalu Atoll. Although the target for the record was over 250 participants, the event wrapped up with an impressive 307.

Fahud Faiz of Free Dive Maldives, who was instrumental in organizing the event, credited its success to Siyam World’s full cooperation. He further remarked that the achievement was made possible by the efforts of many.

Fahud, noting Siyam World’s management is always ready to stand out by taking bold risks, said the event came together smoothly thanks to the like-minded approach of both Siyam World and Free Dive Maldives.

Upon conclusion of the event, all participants were presented Guinness World Records’ official medal. It marked the first time participants of the Guinness World Record in the Maldives were presented the medal.
