3 cars torched in Addu City

Arsonists torched three cars parked in homes in Hithadhoo, Addu City last Sunday night.

Maldives Police Service reports the arson attacks took place at approximately 12:11 am, and that each of the three cars were parked at three different houses.

The arsonists had torched the engines of the cars in each of the attacks.

Police reports they have detained two male suspects in connection with the case.

Arson attacks have recently increased in Addu City, with two cars torched in the city just last week.
