STO to supply jet fuel to INIA

State Trading Organization (STO) has agreed to supply jet fuel to the flights landing at Ibrahim Nasir International Airport (INIA) in the coming year as well.

STO has been providing jet fuel to INIA before as well. After their contract expired, the two companies have renegotiated and decided to continue as before.

And so at the signing at STO Head Office today, Managing Director of STO, Ahmed Shaheer signed the contract on behalf of his company while INIA was represented by it’s operators, Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL)’s Managing Director, Aadhil Moosa.

After the signing, the Managing Director of STO, Shaheer said that STO has provided the jet fuel required by MACL in the past two years and has provided the service to their expectation and continue to do so in the future. He said that about 200,000 metric ton of fuel would be provided in a year.

The Managing Director of MACL, Aadhil Moosa said that STO was chosen because they maintain the standard and quality of service in the past years without any problems.

And said that he believes that INIA would receive the same quality of fuel in the future as well.
