2 injured in Eydhafushi accident

Two people were injured on Thursday in an accident in B. Eydhafushi in which a pickup and motorbike collided.

The accident took place at around 1:30 pm on the main road of the island.

B. Atoll Hospital in Eydhafushi said that the man driving the motorbike suffered the worst of injuries between the two. And that if was one of the hospital’s medical officers who was driving the motorbike.

His has a fracture on the left side of his shoulder bone.

The pickup driver suffered only minor injuries on his legs.

Both the accident victims are being treated at hospital and are showing signs of improvement.
