Minister Shainee assigned to the co-chair of EYC

Fisheries Minister, Dr. Mohamed Shainee has been assigned to the co-chair of the Economic and Youth Council (EYC).

Spokesperson of the President’s Office, Ibrahim Muaz tweeted today saying that President Abdulla Yamin has assigned Minister Shainee to the position at EYC.

Vice President Ahmed Adheeb the former co-chair of the EYC was dismissed. The current chairman of the council is President Abdulla Yamin.

The President has also assigned Minister Mohamed Saeed as the person to report to by the Special Economic Zone (SEZ).

President Abdulla Yamin has recently been bringing changes to the councils where the Vice President was a part of.
