Man arrested in the robbery of PPM hall in Kanduhulhudhoo

A man has been arrested in suspicion of the robbery from the PPM campaign hall in G.A. Kanduhulhudhoo and taking the electronics in the place.

Police said that the robbery of the PPM hall in Kanduhulhudhoo around 3:15 p.m. today was reported to the Police. And that they have arrested a man in case.

A man from Kanduhulhudhoo told Sun Media that the robbery took place sometime last night and the theft was discovered at noon. Items stolen from the place include sound speakers and amplifiers worth above MVR 80,000.

The man who spoke from the island said that the robbery has taken place when the PPM supporters in the island have planned some activities to show their support for the Government.

The Police are currently investigation the case.
