Maldives takes part in biggest boat and watersports fair

Maldives is taking part in the world’s biggest boat and watersports exhibition, underway in Dusseldorf, Germany.

Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) reports the week-long exhibition will be held from January 21 to January 28. And that Maldivian tourism industry was being promoted in the exhibition under the slogan “The Colorful Side of Life”.

14 representatives from six Maldivian tourism companies are participating in the Dusseldorf Boat Show and Watersports Exhibition this year.

The Maldivian delegation is led by Acting Managing Director of MMPRC, Haaris Mohamed.

Dusseldorf Boat Show and Watersports Exhibition is an annual event for boating, diving and watersports enthusiasts.

It is attended by operators of luxury yachts, suppliers of dive equipment and watersports equipment as well as top diving destinations from across the world – making it the biggest such event.

Visitors to the event this year will be treated to an indoor deep water wave, and virtual stimulations of boat riding in Rhine – the longest river in Germany, and virtual stimulations of relaxing in a beach.
