Maldives Police Service has arrested some of the journalists covering the opposition protest rally being held in Malé City tonight. Police media official confirmed that some journalists were arrested for obstruction of police duty. Sun Media journalists, Ahmed Azif at the scene of the arrests said that the journalists were arrested with their equipment for the live coverage of the rally. [...]
